Skoda Produces Over 925,000 Vehicles in 2024
Skoda, part of the Volkswagen Group, produced more than 925,000 vehicles in 2024, marking a 4.2% increase over the previous year.
Main Plant Drives Production Numbers
The primary facility in Mlada Boleslav was responsible for over 575,000 vehicles, including models such as the Fabia, Scala, Kamiq, Octavia, and Enyaq.
Beyond Mlada Boleslav, Skoda operates several manufacturing sites across Europe, including the Bratislava plant in Slovakia, where the Superb sedan and wagon are produced. In India, two plants in Pune and Chakan manufacture vehicles, while a Vietnamese plant assembles the Slavia and Kushaq models.
Skoda's global footprint extends to China, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine, where it produces the Kodiaq, Karoq, Kamiq, Octavia, and Superb models.
On the sales front, Skoda delivered 926,600 vehicles worldwide in 2024, a 6.9% increase compared to 2023. Key growth markets included Germany, Turkey, the United Kingdom, Poland, and Spain.
Sales of the all-electric Enyaq dipped slightly by 2.6%, while the Octavia posted a strong 12.4% sales increase. The Kamiq and Fabia also saw sales rise by 8.2% and an impressive 24.1%, respectively.
Germany remained Skoda's largest market in 2024, with over 187,100 vehicles sold.
Skoda now proudly offers its youngest and most varied lineup yet, with 12 model lines. The newest addition is the all-electric Elroq SUV, starting at 799,000 korunas — approximately $33,160 at current exchange rates.
