The all-new 2024 Skoda Kodiaq RS stands out as the sportiest and most powerful model in the lineup, equipped with numerous advanced features as standard.
Performance and Chassis
The 2024 Kodiaq RS shares its engine with the VW Golf GTI—a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder delivering 265 horsepower (261 hp/195 kW), which is 20 hp (15 kW) more than the previous model. It generates a robust 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed DSG transmission and standard All-Wheel Drive.
This sporty SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 kph (62 mph) in just 6.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 232 kph (144 mph). These performance figures are preliminary and may be finalized closer to release.
Features and Design
The Kodiaq RS features progressive steering, Dynamic Sound Boost, and upgraded ventilated brakes front and rear. It includes DCC Plus with 15 damping settings, offering drive modes like Comfort, Normal, Sport, Individual, Snow, and a dedicated Off-Road setting.
Styling upgrades include a revised grille, sportier front and rear bumpers, rear diffuser, and distinctive black accents on the grille frame, window frames, side mirrors, and D-pillars, enhancing its athletic stance.
Additional touches include blacked-out tailgate logos, a new RS badge on the grille and tailgate, polished stainless steel exhaust tips beneath the rear bumper, and standard 20-inch Elias alloy wheels finished in polished black.
Customers can choose from eight exterior paint options—including one solid and seven metallic finishes—highlighted by the striking Bronx Gold Metallic.
Standard Equipment
Standard features consist of LED Matrix headlights with animated welcome and cornering functions, LED taillights with animated indicators, a rear red decorative strip, front light strip, Kessy Advanced keyless system with Open On Approach and Walk Away Locking, a premium Canton audio system, and more.
Pricing and Availability
In the UK, the 2024 Kodiaq vRS will be available in Lounge and Suite trims. The Lounge offers perforated microsuede artificial leather seats with electric adjustment, memory, ambient lighting, and optional heated rear seats. The Suite adds perforated leather and artificial leather upholstery, along with ventilated front seats.
