Exterior tweaks are understated yet impactful, highlighted by advanced second-generation LED Matrix beam headlights. The grille features a subtle redesign, complemented by fresh alloy wheel designs. The trim lineup has been streamlined to four key versions: SE Technology, SE L, SportLine, and vRS.
Inside, buyers can choose from nine distinct Design Selections. New sustainable materials now grace the seats, dashboard, and door panels. Technology upgrades include a standard 10-inch Digital Display and an all-new 13-inch infotainment screen—the largest ever offered on the Octavia. Additionally, Skoda enhances user experience by integrating an AI-powered ChatGPT chatbot into the Laura voice assistant across all models.
Revised Powertrains and Performance Options
The refreshed Octavia drops the smaller 1.0 TSI engine and eliminates the plug-in hybrid option. The lineup opens with two variants of the 1.5 TSI, featuring optional mild-hybrid technology and DSG transmissions. This is joined by a more potent 2.0 TSI and two diesel engines.
Power outputs range from 114 hp upwards, culminating in a new 201-hp 2.0 TSI arriving soon. The range-topping Octavia vRS boasts a 261-hp 2.0 TSI engine—a 20-hp increase over its predecessor—delivering spirited performance wrapped in athletic style.
Distinctive vRS Enhancements
The vRS variant offers exclusive features such as aerodynamic 18-inch Comet alloy wheels and new 19-inch brushed Elias wheels available in silver or anthracite. Two vRS-specific Design Selections are available: the RS Fabric Design Selection and the upscale vRS Suite Design Selection, delivering sportier and more luxurious cabin options.
