Skoda has opened orders for the 2024 Scala and Kamiq in the United Kingdom. These refreshed compact hatchback and subcompact SUV models come with various petrol engine options across three trims: SE, SE L, and the premium Monte Carlo.
Pricing and Trim Levels
The 2024 Skoda Scala starts at £22,095 (around $28,088), while the Kamiq begins at £24,030 ($30,548). The Scala Monte Carlo trim tops the range at £27,765 ($35,296), and the Kamiq Monte Carlo offers a premium experience for £29,275 ($37,216).
The entry-level SE comes equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and daytime running lights, an 8.25-inch infotainment system, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, keyless start, and dual-zone climate control on both models.
Moving up to the SE L adds 17-inch wheels, a larger 9.2-inch infotainment display, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, ambient interior lighting, and a rear center armrest for added comfort.
The Monte Carlo trim, available on both models, features 18-inch alloys, LED Matrix headlights, a panoramic sunroof, and Sport mode driving settings. The Scala also receives updated exterior styling, while the Kamiq adds dynamic styling cues like blacked-out side mirrors, grille, badging, full Matrix LED headlights, LED taillights, keyless entry with push-button start, and other upscale touches.
Both models offer petrol engines: the SE and SE L trims come with a 95 ps (94 hp/70 kW) 1.0 TSI, while the Monte Carlo trim upgrades to a 116 ps (114 hp/85 kW) 1.0 TSI, available with an optional DSG transmission. Additionally, a 150 ps (148 hp/110 kW) 1.5 TSI engine is offered with manual or automatic gearbox options to complete the lineup.
