2024 Skoda Superb Sportline Unveiled: Sleek Design Meets Performance

The Skoda Superb, known as Volkswagen Passat's stylish Czech counterpart, introduces the new Sportline trim — its most athletic version yet. This sport-inspired model is offered in both sedan and estate body styles, emphasizing a youthful and dynamic character.

Distinctive Features of the Skoda Superb Sportline

Sportline stands out with glossy black accents across the exterior, including window frames, grille surround, side mirrors, front apron, and roof rails (estate only). The rear features matching black corporate lettering, with additional touches on the rear spoiler (hatchback) and diffuser. Completing the look are 19-inch alloy wheels and SportLine badges on the front quarter panels.

Inside, two interior Design Selections are available: Microsuede Sport features a combination of artificial leather and microsuede upholstery with electrically adjustable front seats including a massage function; Suite Sport offers perforated artificial leather, ventilated ergonomic front seats, and smart comfort entry. Both trims showcase a black headliner, carbon-effect decorative strips on the dashboard and door panels, a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel with black stitching and Sportline branding, along with stainless steel pedal covers.

Technology highlights include a free-standing 13-inch main touchscreen paired with a 10-inch digital instrument cluster featuring Sportline-specific graphics. Ambient lighting comes standard, complementing both interior options.

    Engine Options and Availability

Skoda offers the Superb Sportline with all available powertrains. In the UK, the lineup includes a 1.5 TSI e-TEC producing 150 PS (148 hp/110 kW) and a 2.0L TDI diesel with the same output, both mated to a DSG automatic transmission. The Superb Estate shares these powertrains and adds the 1.5 TSI iV plug-in hybrid with 204 PS (201 hp/150 kW). Pricing details for the Sportline trim are yet to be announced, though it is expected to carry a premium reflective of its enhanced equipment.
