2025 Skoda Enyaq Begins Production
The updated Skoda Enyaq and its coupe-SUV variant have officially entered mass production at Skoda's main facility in Mlada Boleslav, Czech Republic.
Updated Design and Features
Following more than 250,000 deliveries of the original model, the facelifted Enyaq introduces subtle exterior updates and additional standard features. Both zero-emission models have their battery systems produced locally in Mlada Boleslav.
The refreshed Enyaq offers two battery sizes and powertrain options: the rear-wheel-drive Enyaq 60 and the dual-motor all-wheel-drive Enyaq 85x. Leading the range, the Enyaq 85 achieves an impressive WLTP test cycle range of up to 581 kilometers (361 miles).
Pricing starts at 1,015,000 korunas for the Enyaq 60 and 1,075,000 korunas for the Enyaq 85x, approximately $42,290 and $44,790 USD respectively, based on current exchange rates.
Trim Levels and Amenities
The entry-level Enyaq Selection comes well-equipped with features like three-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats and steering wheel, blind spot monitoring, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The Sportline trim enhances the package with sportier design elements, advanced driver assistance systems, and Matrix LED headlights.
Sportline models, from the 60 through to the 85x, include a Virtual Pedal—a hands-free kick sensor for the power liftgate—and upgrade to 20-inch alloy wheels.
Performance and Range Details
The Enyaq's smaller battery option delivers 59.0 kWh of usable capacity, while the larger long-range battery offers 77.0 kWh. Power output is 150 kW (201 hp) and 310 Nm (229 lb-ft) for the rear-wheel-drive model, with the all-wheel-drive version producing up to 210 kW (282 hp) and 545 Nm (402 lb-ft).
Top speeds reach 180 km/h (112 mph) for the Enyaq 85 and 85x models, while the Enyaq 60 is limited to 160 km/h (99 mph).
