2026 Skoda Epiq Spied for the First Time, Features Epiq Concept Styling Traits
Skoda is set to expand its electric lineup with a new compact crossover SUV. Recent spy shots reveal a vehicle that closely mirrors the styling of the Epiq concept car.
Design Inspiration and Features
The upcoming 2026 Skoda Epiq draws heavily from the Epiq concept, debuted in March 2024. Its production design showcases a rugged front bumper reminiscent of the concept model. The distinctive front light signature and headlights also follow the original design closely.
Meanwhile, the side mirrors are now mounted on the doors instead of the pillars, creating a taller stance. Updated roof rails add a refined, upscale touch to the exterior.
The Tech Deck front fascia includes a gloss-black panel that integrates various ADAS radars and sensors. A clamshell-style hood enhances its robust look, while the nearly vertical liftgate optimizes trunk space.
Specifications and Price
The Skoda Epiq is expected to come standard with a front electric motor producing about 166 kW (226 metric horsepower or 223 mechanical horsepower). Pricing is projected to be around €25,000, aligning closely with the Volkswagen ID.2 hatchback.
The Epiq concept revealed a cargo area of approximately 490 liters (17.3 cubic feet) behind the rear seats, impressive for a subcompact SUV. The electric driving range is estimated at over 400 kilometers (249 miles) under WLTP standards, slightly below the Volkswagen ID.2's predicted range.
