2027 Skoda Peaq Reveals Vision 7S-Inspired Design Details
Skoda has significantly evolved since the Citigo iV, its entry-level A-segment electric hatchback. Slated for launch this summer, the Peaq expands Skoda’s MEB-based electric lineup, offering seating for seven passengers and marking a new chapter for the brand.
A Closer Look at the 2027 Skoda Peaq
Our spy photographers captured several clear images of the eagerly awaited Peaq. Much like Volkswagen's ID. Buzz, the Peaq boasts a commanding presence, measuring close to 5 meters in length with an impressive wheelbase estimated at over 3 meters, enhancing interior space.
The Peaq’s design draws heavily from the Vision 7S concept revealed in August 2022, incorporating Skoda’s signature Modern Solid design language. Recent models like the Elroq and the upcoming B-segment Epiq also reflect these contemporary styling elements.
A prominent air intake sits low on the front bumper, contributing to its dynamic look. Though camouflage conceals the C- and D-pillars, the vehicle’s rear quarter windows clearly echo the Vision 7S concept’s sleek profile.
Positioning and Performance
The 2027 Peaq features rear drum brakes consistent with current MEB platform models—a cost-saving choice compared to the rear disc brakes found on the forthcoming MEB+ platform.
Buyers can expect both rear-wheel-drive and twin-motor all-wheel-drive options, alongside at least two battery sizes. Thanks to its extended wheelbase, the Peaq could offer a larger battery than the Enyaq, enabling longer range or enhanced performance.
Skoda may also introduce an RS variant, likely powered by the Volkswagen Group's APP550 electric motor, similar to the Enyaq RS (marketed as the Enyaq vRS in the UK), delivering strong acceleration and sporty credentials.
Styling updates include the Tech-Deck front fascia, striking T-shaped LED lighting, and bold SKODA lettering on the tailgate, underscoring the brand’s modern design philosophy.
