Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.46 Adds Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454, AFEELA, and Skoda Vision with Minor Issues

Gran Turismo 7's Update 1.46 introduces the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454, AFEELA EV, and Skoda Vision Gran Turismo, plus new circuits and a minor bug fix alert.

Gran Turismo 7's Latest Update Adds Three Exciting New Cars, but Not Without Minor Issues

Gran Turismo 7’s update 1.46 has just dropped, bringing three standout cars that should keep fans engaged and racing.

A Muscle Car Icon: The 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454

While many players eagerly await the arrival of Gran Turismo 7 on PC with ray tracing and enhanced graphics, Sony has yet to confirm that release. For now, the PS5 version treats players to a classic: the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 Sport Coupe, available at the "Legend Cars" dealership.

This Chevrolet muscle car remains a true performance legend. Powered by a formidable 454-cubic-inch (7.4-liter) V8 LS6 engine, the Chevelle SS 454 delivers a robust 450 horsepower and 500 lb-ft (678 Nm) of torque, capturing the raw spirit of 1970s American muscle.

Electric Power and Visionary Design: AFEELA and Skoda Vision Gran Turismo

Joining the lineup is the AFEELA — a fully electric prototype developed through the collaboration of Sony and Honda. Its arrival was anticipated, having been showcased during the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show.

Also debuting is the single-seater electric Skoda Vision Gran Turismo, inspired by the classic 1957 Skoda 1100 OHC Spider. Although it exists solely within GT7’s digital realm, it offers impressive performance and unique style.

Minor Bugs in Update 1.46 and New Features

Beyond new cars, the update adds fresh content to Scapes, Cafe, and World Circuits menus. Notable new tracks include the Japanese Clubman Cup 550/Alsace - Village Reverse, American FR Challenge 550/Trial Mountain Circuit Reverse, and Vision Gran Turismo Trophy/Grand Valley - Highway 1. Players are encouraged to explore these new courses at their own pace.

However, Polyphony Digital has acknowledged a minor bug affecting some events: certain car settings can be altered despite restrictions, and some wheels cannot be fitted to specific cars. The developer has issued a public apology via Twitter, receiving positive reactions for their openness and swift communication — a refreshing contrast to the usual silent fixes.
