Discover Skoda's 1000 MBX concept, blending 1960s muscle car design with a sleek, futuristic interior and electric platform layout.

Skoda 1000 MBX Concept: Muscle Car Styling with a Modern, Innovative Interior

The Skoda 1000 MBX concept reinvents the iconic 1960s coupe through the lens of the new Modern Solid design language. Its sculpted body exudes a powerful muscle car presence, featuring a low profile and aggressive contours.

Step inside, and the story changes. The cabin adopts a 2+2 layout, where the front seats can be combined into a seamless bench, while the rear features cinema-style tip-up seats. This clever arrangement is made possible by a flat floor designed to accommodate an electric vehicle platform.

The interior centerpiece is an all-glass oval module projecting key information, with an instrument panel inspired by the original 1000 MB. Absent a traditional center console, the cabin achieves a clean, minimalist aesthetic. Subtle ambient lighting accentuates graphic details throughout, creating a cool, contemporary atmosphere.

Designed by Antti Mikael Savio and David Stingl in roughly a month, this three-box crossover-esque concept lives solely in the digital realm. As part of Skoda's "Icons Get a Makeover" series, the 1000 MBX digitally reimagines a classic to inspire future creativity while honoring its heritage.
