US$35,515) and comes equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry featuring 'Safelock' and alarm systems, a spacious 13-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a ventilated wireless fast-charging smartphone tray.
Additional comforts include heated front seats, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, auto-dimming and heated side mirrors with power-fold functionality, a built-in umbrella in the door, dual-zone climate control, and a Mode 3 (Type 2) charging cable. Safety is comprehensive with adaptive cruise control including traffic jam assist, adaptive lane assist, emergency assist, rear traffic alert, turn assist, side assist with exit warning, front assist with collision avoidance, among other features.
For an elevated experience, the 130 Years Edition starts at AU$64,990 (approx. US$41,975). This trim adds striking 21-inch alloy wheels, Matrix LED headlights with dynamic range control and cornering lights, and animated LED taillights. It also includes a premium Canton sound system with 12 speakers, power-adjustable front seats featuring massage and memory, an augmented reality head-up display, a power tailgate, and more.
Performance and Driving Range
Both trims share the same powertrain and battery: an 82 kWh battery powering a rear-mounted electric motor rated at 210 kW (286 PS / 282 hp). This setup accelerates the Elroq from 0-100 kph (0-62 mph) in just 6.6 seconds.
The Elroq offers an impressive combined WLTP range of 529 km (323 miles) and extends to 661 km (411 miles) for city driving. It supports fast charging up to 175 kW, enabling quick and convenient battery top-ups on the road.
Warranty and Availability
Australian buyers receive peace of mind with a 7-year unlimited kilometer warranty. The first Skoda Elroq vehicles are scheduled to arrive in September. While the sportier Elroq RS (known as vRS in the UK) variant has not been confirmed for the Australian market, the Elroq family also includes SportLine, Edition, and SE L trims priced from AU$77,025, AU$70,950, and AU$68,685 respectively.
