Skoda Epiq All-Electric City SUV Nears Launch
The wait is nearly over for the Skoda Epiq, a compact all-electric city SUV ready to make its mark on the automotive scene. The show car debuted at the IAA Mobility Show in Munich, offering a first look at this exciting new model.
Introducing a New Chapter for Skoda
The Epiq represents a fresh chapter for Skoda with its Modern Solid design language. This sleek, minimalist exterior blends seamlessly with a functional interior that balances style and practicality. The show car boasts a 475-liter trunk and an estimated driving range of up to 264 miles (425 km) on a single charge.
Even more compelling is the expected starting price, set to rival that of Skoda’s gasoline-powered Kamiq—making the Epiq one of the brand’s most accessible electric vehicles yet.
The Epiq is a 4.1-meter-long compact crossover SUV tailored for city driving, comfortably seating five passengers. Its modern design is evident inside and out, featuring upgraded LED lighting, a redesigned grille, refreshed bumpers, and new side mirrors.
Production will take place at Volkswagen’s Navarra plant in Spain, within the VW Group’s BGC and the Electric Urban Car Family (EUCF) program. The production version is expected to launch in summer next year.
Beyond its stylish looks, the Epiq offers smart storage solutions such as bag hooks, fasteners, hidden underfloor compartments, wireless phone charging, and Simply Clever features for added convenience.
As the launch approaches, the Skoda Epiq promises to be a standout in the electric vehicle market, delivering a winning combination of style, practicality, and affordability.
