Skoda Introduces More Affordable Enyaq 50 Model in UK Electric Lineup
In the United Kingdom, Skoda has launched a new entry-level variant to its Enyaq electric SUV range. The Skoda Enyaq 50 takes the place of the previous Enyaq 60, delivering a more budget-friendly choice to UK buyers.
New Entry-Level Model: Skoda Enyaq 50
Equipped with a 55-kWh battery (52 kWh net), the Enyaq 50 features a rear-mounted electric motor that produces 170 metric horsepower and 310 newton-meters of torque (equivalent to 168 hp and 229 lb-ft).
This rear-wheel-drive-only model reaches a top speed of 99 mph (155 km/h) and accelerates from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 9.1 seconds. The Enyaq 50 delivers an estimated WLTP range of up to 234 miles (377 km) on a full charge.
Features and Equipment
The Enyaq 50 comes standard with 19-inch alloy wheels, the Loft interior design, satellite navigation displayed on a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a combination of artificial leather and fabric upholstery, LED headlights, and a Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster.
Upgrade to the 50 Edition
The Enyaq 50 Edition adds premium touches such as full-LED Matrix headlights, full-LED rear lights, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, privacy glass, and electrically adjustable driver's seat. This trim also includes adaptive cruise control and starts at £38,585 (approximately $49,830).
Safety and comfort features on the 50 Edition include Crew Protect Assist, front and rear side airbags, a central interaction airbag, cooled wireless charging, and tri-zone climate control.

The Enyaq lineup also offers the Enyaq 85 with a larger 77 kWh net capacity battery. This lithium-ion pack powers the vRS and 85x SportLine Plus—the only dual-motor options available in the UK.
For maximum range, the Enyaq 85 Edition delivers up to 358 miles (576 km), while the Enyaq 85 L&K reaches up to 351 miles (565 km) on a single charge.
