Skoda's UK division is celebrating the tenth anniversary of its family-friendly three-row mid-size SUV with the launch of the special Edition X limited series.

This year marks several milestones for Skoda Motorsport: 125 years of motorsport heritage, 35 years as part of Volkswagen AG, and 30 years since the launch of the iconic Skoda Octavia. Also celebrating a milestone is the Skoda Kodiaq, which first arrived a decade ago. Built on Volkswagen Group's versatile MQB platform, it shares close ties with the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace and Seat Tarraco.
The new Edition X honors the Kodiaq's tenth year with a well-equipped model starting at £40,590 OTR (approximately $55,000). While Skoda remains unavailable in North America, the UK market welcomes this exclusive model with open arms.
Features and Specifications
The 2026 Skoda Kodiaq Edition X builds on the SE L trim, offering 19-inch Halti anthracite alloy wheels, metallic paint, and a distinctive exterior package featuring a black D-pillar, unique dark chrome front grille, and chrome roof rails.
Lighting upgrades include LED Matrix headlights with adaptive front-light system (AFS), all-weather lighting (AWL) with cornering function, LED taillights with welcome effect, and dynamic indicators. Comfort and convenience come standard with keyless entry, start/stop system, an electric tailgate, and spacious seven-seat configuration.
Under the hood, the Edition X is powered by Volkswagen's proven 1.5-liter TSI engine producing 150 PS (148 hp), enhanced with 48V mild hybrid technology, and paired with a standard seven-speed DSG transmission.
