Skoda Kushaq Facelift Launches with Modern Design and Advanced Features

Discover the updated 2026 Skoda Kushaq SUV featuring a bold new look, enhanced technology, and powertrain options, now expanding beyond India.

Skoda Reveals Facelifted Kushaq SUV with Comprehensive Upgrades

Skoda, the Czech automaker, has unveiled a major facelift for its Kushaq SUV, originally launched in India four years ago. The refreshed model introduces substantial updates designed to broaden its appeal beyond the Indian market.

    Fresh Design and Enhanced Features

The updated Kushaq showcases Skoda's new Modern Solid design philosophy. Up front, it sports brand-new LED headlights featuring the iconic four-eye graphics and a redesigned grille with enhanced illuminated elements. The rear end receives slimmed-down lights and a more prominent bumper and diffuser for a bolder stance.

Inside, the Monte Carlo edition stands out with burgundy-red accents, red-stitched seats, and carbon-look upholstery. Standard trims now include refined beige detailing, complemented by new alloy wheel designs and an optional panoramic sunroof. Additional highlights include dual-color ambient lighting, front parking sensors, and upgraded technology.

Tech upgrades feature rear seats with a massage function, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen. The Kushaq also introduces the Companion App, utilizing Google technology and Gemini AI for voice-activated controls.

    Updated Powertrains and Transmission Choices

The 2026 Kushaq offers two engine options: a 1.0 TSI producing 114 horsepower paired with an eight-speed automatic featuring a hydrodynamic torque converter, and a 1.5 TSI generating 148 horsepower with a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission. The higher-powered engine also includes rear disc brakes as standard.

Manufactured in India with 95% locally sourced parts, the new Kushaq is poised to be central to Skoda's growth in global markets.

The facelifted Kushaq is now available for order in India, with prices starting just above 1 million Indian rupees (around $12,000). For further details, visit Skoda Fabia.
