Skoda Unveils Enyaq SportLine 85 With Better Range and Better Pricing
Skoda has launched the all-new SportLine 85 variant in its Enyaq lineup, featuring a single-motor powertrain with rear-wheel drive. This setup delivers improved range and more affordable pricing for buyers.
Enyaq SportLine 85: Key Features
The Enyaq SportLine 85 is powered by a single motor mounted on the rear axle in a rear-wheel-drive configuration. It generates 285 metric horsepower (282 hp) and 545 Newton meters (402 lb-ft) of torque.
This powertrain allows the Enyaq to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 kph) in 6.7 seconds, with a top speed of 111 mph (179 kph). Both the SUV and Coupe variants offer this setup, though their electric ranges differ.
The SUV achieves up to 354 miles (570 kilometers) per charge, while the more aerodynamic Coupe extends range to 356 miles (573 kilometers). For comparison, the dual-motor, all-wheel-drive Enyaq 85x delivers up to 335 miles (539 kilometers) on a single charge.
Pricing and Availability
Orders for the Enyaq SportLine 85 open on June 12. Pricing starts at £47,260 ($63,792) in the UK for the SUV, with the Coupe beginning at £49,160 ($66,350).
Standard features include a head-up display, front sport seats, a sports steering wheel, and a premium CANTON audio system. A variable boot floor enhances practicality, while progressive dynamic steering is offered as an option.
The SportLine 85 also benefits from a sports suspension that lowers ride height by 15 millimeters at the front and 10 millimeters at the rear. Additionally, an Area View camera system makes parking and maneuvering easier.
