Elroq SE L 85: The Most Cost-Effective Long-Range Variant
Based on the SE trim, the Elroq SE L 85 features an 82-kWh battery and qualifies for the £1,500 Electric Car Grant. Priced at £37,060 on the road, buyers can benefit from a discounted price of £35,560.
While the UK’s longest-range Elroq, the Edition 85, offers up to 356 miles (573 kilometers) and carries a premium over £5,000 higher, both models share the same 210-kW electric motor powertrain.
Other Elroq versions eligible for the Electric Car Grant include the SportLine 60 and 85 trims, along with the Enyaq SE L 60 and Edition 60 models. Customers do not need to complete additional documentation to claim the grant on these models.
The SE L 85 comes well-equipped with features such as heated front seats and steering wheel, satellite navigation, connected infotainment system, tow-bar preparation, front parking sensors, and remote vehicle access.
Design upgrades over the base SE include 19-inch alloy wheels, fabric and faux leather seating, LED headlights and taillights, dual-zone climate control, a 13-inch touchscreen, rear parking sensors, and a tire repair kit. Optional packages include the Lodge Design Selection, Winter Package, and Vega or Neptune wheel designs.
Built on the MEB platform shared with the Enyaq and other Volkswagen Group electric vehicles, the Elroq SE L 85 features rear drum brakes instead of discs, contributing to its cost efficiency.
