Discover Skoda's new flagship electric SUV, the Peaq, based on the Vision 7s concept, boasting spacious seven-seat design and cutting-edge electric tech.
Skoda Unveils 'Peaq': Its Largest Ever Electric SUV Inspired by Vision 7s Concept
Skoda has revealed the name of its upcoming seven-seat electric SUV — the Peaq. This flagship model will not only be the brand’s largest electric vehicle but also the biggest Skoda ever produced.
Measuring over five meters (16.4 feet) in length, the Peaq will be built on the Modularer E-Antriebs Baukasten (MEB) electric platform. This versatile architecture supports several Volkswagen Group vehicles, including the ID. series, Cupra Tavascan, and Audi Q4.
A Refined Design Inspired by Vision 7s
The Peaq introduces a refreshed take on Skoda's Modern Solid design language, directly inspired by the Vision 7s concept unveiled in summer 2022. The concept boasted an 89 kWh battery delivering up to 370 miles (600 km) of range under the WLTP standard.
Inside, the Vision 7s showcased spacious seating for seven, featuring an uncommon 2+2+2 layout plus a baby seat in the center. While it's uncertain whether this exact arrangement will be in the production model, a more traditional 2+3+2 configuration seems likely.
Although Skoda has yet to announce the Peaq’s production debut date, it is expected soon. Positioned above the current Enyaq and Kodiaq models, the Peaq will serve as Skoda’s new flagship and most premium SUV offering.
"We ventured into entirely new territory for Skoda, guided by a clear vision of how we aimed to elevate the brand. Now we are bringing this innovative vehicle concept to life. Our new flagship model takes our brand values of spaciousness and practicality to a whole new level," said Skoda Board Member for Sales Marketing Martin Jahn.
We will continue to follow the Skoda Peaq closely and share updates as new details emerge.
